About LaserType
For those people who tend to use CorelDraw and AutoCAD for laser outputs, they always suffer from longer production time and less productivity than other people who use laser-oriented software. To help LaserPro users out of this dilemma and offer them a better solution, LaserPro is now introducing a new laser-oriented software – LaserType.

LaserType is built in with dedicated functions to meet distinctive laser requirements. With LaserType, LaserPro users are able to do more things by using the dials/rulers for scale engraving and “Nesting” for space saving of material. LaserType is able to use a variable serialized text automatically. Better yet, any specific image file can easily be done in just one software platform!
Nesting – An inescapable function for stamp makers
If you are a stamp maker and troubled with material saving, you will be pleased to know about the Nesting function that we are going to show you. Nesting is a professional tool that will cut your costs drastically by minimizing material waste and solve the left-over material problem. It allows users to fit a defined number of parts into another defined area automatically.

By applying it to cutting applications, you can choose the place where to nest the objects: on material or on first selected contours. Additionally, it is now possible to parameterize the nesting resolution or the approach distance between the nested objects. It will not only save materials, but also guarantee to finish in less than one minute!
Demonstration with LaserPro
Step 1. Draw the objects below and click on object A
Step 2. Press and hold the Ctrl key and click on object B
Step 3. Click on Metier and choose Nesting
Step 4. The Nesting function is now active, then cut the objects with the parameters shown below
Ruler/ Dial – Special design for ruler/dial makers
With the Ruler/Dial function, you can create your dials or rulers instantly with this unique and powerful wizard. This step-by-step creation of dials with efficient assistance permits you to use customized variables and to re-edit any parameter of your dial with a simple click. They can fit any curve or line and allow you to generate objects from watch dials to machine front panels. Examples of its use include the automotive industry for speedometers, jewelry industry for watch dials, verniers, etc.

Matrix / Series / Variables – Exclusively for trophy & award owners
The function of Matrix / Series / Variables enables you to create a series of models with the use of variable and matrix functions. You can choose from the two options that are offered to create a series: import an existing series or create a customized one. These functions are especially useful for engravers when creating a plate of the same motif with different variables. Take full advantage of this time-saving feature by combining it with the nesting function for an optimized use of material
